Loading one of the bins full of slash on a steep line unit full bench road. We could not get any pull behind chip van to this location. The bins have skids as the bottom frame and can be carefully towed around. This costs about twice as much as regular vans but since we couldn't get a van here the option was burn the slash.
This materials final destination was the Darby Fuels for Schools boiler. Since this was dry fir and larch slash it was excellent fuel as we chipped rather than ground it.
